UI-Update and Bug-Fixes
The Starter-Update
Today's update is an overall improvement of under normal circumstances unacceptable problems. Thus, no major updates on levels or feature can be announced just yet.
In this update, I:
-removed unwanted collisions with background elements
-hopefully prevented the player from gaining speed, enabling him to sprint and fall threw walls
-added around 22 new background elements for two terrains
-improved cave interior, using multiple layers to create an illusion of depth
-increased the camera hight for a better feeling
-completely reworked the start screen
This game is in no way finished but its starting to be playable., so any feedback to already existing features, designs, etc. are welcome.
I am currently working alone on this project, so I expect it will take a while until the next major update. Nevertheless, I want to give you some sneak peeks on things I am either currently working or planning to work on.
The plan:
-the reversed role feature (besides the story, there is no role reversal just yet - ironically)
-a forest themed level
-updating the lighting-engine
-adding torches
-adding two more enemies
-adding interact and dialogue system
-creating animations for Geen
Thank you for your interest in Super Geen World. I hope you tune in next time. Cheers.
